Feminine Womanhood Diaries 2.0: Why I Am Starting My Blog Again
From the desk of Cacica Shatoyia Jones-Medor of Kingdom Woman Finishing School, Vale Yon Fanm and Secure Your Crown Academy

My first ever business was a snacks and concession business. My second: a blog and affiliate marketing (before it became mainstream and widely known).
In 2012, I started a few blogs around my life, lifestyle and work. Not only was I passionate about what I was doing, but I was good at it and received lots of positive feedback from my blogs (I had quite a few to go along with my businesses) and made a decent income that kept me afloat for years and (in addition to prayer) was a nice safety net from life's unpredictable twists and turns, especially in the financial aspect.
In 2019, I took a break from blogging to reflect lightly on my experiences and what I really wanted to do and focus on, not just what I felt was necessary as a leader. Many of the leadership roles I took on wasn’t because I necessarily enjoyed 100% what I was doing, but it was because it was, simply put, needed in the world. My voice, my perspective and my contributions in the fields of poverty, poverty reduction, DEI and equitable opportunity access, arts and performance, funding, non-profit funding, education / education policy and reform, women’s advocacy and empowerment, business and wealth education…all was and IS needed.
I have also held 2 pageant titles in my lifetime to access platforms for women advancement to serve and impact more women. I was nominated to participate in my first two pageants and served as Miss Black America Massachusetts 2018 AWOS, as well as Ms. Massachusetts 2019 AWOS, first runner up in my 3rd pageant and then won a style award in my 4th pageant as Miss Springfield USA 2025.
My résumé is extensive and reflects not just my concern regarding world issues, but my willingness to dedicate my life to being a solution for those issues, especially with regarding to serving as a thought leader for creative problem solving and strategic development and implementation.
My Path of Service in The Kingdom

I have never been afraid to pivot and change in life, and with 20+ years of professional and service experience in a wide range of industries, I am sure and certain of what I believe my specific purpose is and what I call my “path of service” in The Kingdom.
Things I have been repeatedly told (and have repeatedly seen for myself) that I do well that is unique, special and moves people emotionally: write, speak, dance, teach, and strategize / give “food for thought.” I have often been told that I am motherly and give off motherly energy, my conversation is like therapy and I exude confidence, elegance, grace and poise. I have been told I am the real deal and that it is rare to find someone who actually lives up to who they say they are / to what they say they believe. And I have been told I am great at showing people, especially women, their worth and value, as well as offering obtainable milestones to reach their personal/spiritual, professional/leadership goals and financial leadership goals.
As of 2022, I decided to dedicate myself to how I believe I am called to serve most effectively in the Kingdom of Yahwheh. Instead of working part-time on my women’s empowerment passions, I have made it my full-time service and occupational focus. I am moving my online group of 10K+ women exploring femininity, womanhood, faith and ambition with a new refined focus and goal in mind.
Feminine Womanhood Diaries

I started Feminine Womanhood Diaries some years back for my Feminine Leadership Coaching & Mentorship Program (kingdomwoman.mn.co), and then I stopped it. As the trend of “soft life” began to take the social media world by the storm and all of sudden we had so many “femininity” coaches and influencers coming out of the woodworks, it took me some time to figure out where my voice fits in this space of “women empowerment” and “femininity,” as well as how my voice would be unique and stand out in the noise.
I didn’t want to waste my time or any one else’s as just another blogger, another influencer just making noise or ride the wave to make a quick dollar. I watched the trend for a while, making notes and seeing what was being said and what was being taught. And after a few years of note-taking, creating femininity programming and mentoring women of all ages and stages of life, I not only know my voice is unique and that it is needed, but I also know HOW I can consistently meet those needs in a way that is authentic to me as a leader—without compromising my femininity, core values and well-being in the process.
As I embark on this next phase of my life as a new wife, mother and homemaker in addition to serving as a Founder/Cacica of Kingdom Woman Finishing School, I am excited (mixed with a little bit of anxiousness) to launch Feminine Womanhood Diaries, a series that will pull back the curtain on godly femininity and leadership in my life specifically, helping women around the world apply biblical principles for womanhood to confidently and gracefully embrace and navigate all stages of womanhood, lead with godly femininity and attract healthier relationships and more fulfilling life experiences.
And I am doing it by going back to where it all began for me…
BLOGGING.
Welcome to Feminine Womanhood Diaries. I hope this series consistently brings an authentic and inspiringly refreshing voice to the world of leadership, women’s empowerment and godly women in leadership.
I am also starting my series #AskShatoyia, where you can ask me anything! So far, many of the questions I have are usually regarding Biblical Femininity, business / entrepreneurship, courtship and relationships, but you can ask me anything.
